Located on Lake Zoar in Sandy Hook, Connecticut, LOF Adaptive Skiers is a place where children, adults, and wounded veterans come to meet for life-changing adaptive sports experiences and meaningful connections.

 

Waterskiing and Wakeboarding Proud to be a national leader in adaptive waterskiing, LOF Adaptive Skiers runs one of the largest and safest adaptive waterski programs in the country.  We host programs for individuals and groups of all sizes to help them understand, develop skills, and enjoy the sports of waterskiing and wakeboarding.

Tubing Find fun and adventure through Tubing with us on clean and fresh Lake Zoar.  Tubing is offered as part of any of our Water Sports Programs.

Fees Our Open Water Sports Programs are free of charge for individuals with disabilities or special needs. Includes instruction, food, refreshments, and equipment. A  fully refundable deposit is required to secure your registration. Instruction: Beginner to Advanced Levels Available 

Time: Clinics start promptly at 9:00AM and end at 4:00PM.

Location: Clinics take place at 90 Housatonic Drive in Sandy Hook, CT unless otherwise notated.

What to Expect Our classes are personal, professional and designed to give individuals with disabilities or special need greater physical independence through adaptive water sports.  Whether you’re new to water sports or a seasoned athlete, you can expect quality programs from great instructors tailored to help you meet and exceed your goals. Programs typically range from 10-20 participants.  Between ski, boarding and tubing runs, you will have several opportunities to relax by the lake and socialize with other participants.

What to Bring

  • Athletic Bathing Suit (won’t easily fall down or off in water)
  • Towel
  • Warm Change of Clothes
  • Your own brown bag lunch if you have special dietary needs
  • Sun screen
  • Your best attitude!
