Children’s Programs

LOF Adaptive Skiers offers one of the most robust groups of water sports programs for special needs and disabled children in the state of Connecticut. Our events include one day and multi-day water sports programs for children of all ages and abilities throughout the year. We also host water sports events for local non-profit organizations serving disadvantaged children. If your non-profit is interested in having LOF host one of your events, please contact us at info@LOFAdaptiveSkiers.org

  • Freedom Spash: A series of 1-day adaptive water sports activities for children with special needs or disabilities ages 6-17. All abilities welcome.
  • Open Clinics: 1-day adaptive water sports clinics open to anyone with a disability or diagnosis.  All ages and abilities welcome.

Soaring with the Eagles

This unique opportunity enables children ages 6-17 with blindness and/or visual impairments to learn how to waterski, advance their skills, and socialize with children who face similar obstacles.

Hotel accommodations will be provided for families who are traveling over 50 miles to attend. (Families who require hotel accommodations should contact the office after registering).  The event is free of charge, but pre-registration is required.

See the “registration” tab on the website homepage for registration instructions.
